As a Licensing Associate – Physical Sciences, Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC), Aaron works as a part of a multidisciplinary team that assess potential commercial impact of new invention disclosures made by Purdue faculty, staff, and students. Aaron drafts contract amendments, monitors contract compliance and monitors other aspects of relationships with licensees and collaborators.
Aaron Taggart has a BS in Chemistry from SUNY Binghamton (2014), research project on conductive materials for flexible solar cells. He gained a PhD in Chemistry from UNC Chapel Hill (2020) where he conducted a thesis on atomic-scale treatments of surface defects present in semiconductor materials used for photovoltaics and artificial photosynthesis.
